Seriously, this winter weather is horrible, and I’m sure you’re looking for an excuse to do something fun! You should take advantage of all out-of-the-house events possible–you never know when the next “crippling ice storm” will arrive.

Like school…but better!
If you only run, you’re missing out on quite a lot of good stuff. Strength-training (ST) is important for total fitness. Building upper-body strength allows you to pump your arms more vigorously and effectively, and core work is crucial to maintaining good running posture. Additionally, ST can help fix some of the muscular imbalances you may have by forcing you to work muscles that running typically ignores.
In short, Jackie will tell you about getting RIPPED! Except, I really mean “lean and toned.”
